ABOUT THE INVENTOR

Hi, I’m Leigh Major.

I came up with the idea about 7 years ago in shole bay on a crabbing trip. I was having trouble getting crabs out of the nets i was using on the day also they were always in the way on the boat. I said to my mate “there has to be a better way Craig, What if I make a triangle one that can stack on the bow of the boat and have a big back door on it to remove the crabs”

Craig said “good luck making 2 triangles stand above one another”

The challenge was excepted and after 7 years with a lot of help by my Farther, family and my mates with sea trial and development of the product .I now have Bowrider Crab Traps .I hope you like my product as much as I do.

I’ve lived in the Northern Teritory for 26 years. Worked as a tour guide, air conditioning tech and on mine sites. Crabbing and fishing is a massive passion of mine, this gives me time with my mates and family.
